The Harrison County Genealogical Society was founded in 1984 by a small group of people with a common interest in genealogical research.

Our goal continues to search our own ancestry as well as helping others to dig into their West Virginian and appalachian roots.

Our collections include state histories, county histories, family histories, various census records, cemetery records, records of marriages, births, deaths, and more.
